很久以前，在遥远偏僻的山村，山上的夜叉池经常决堤泛滥，为害村民。最终人类和池中的龙族达成协议，规定人类必须每天早、中、晚敲钟三次，夜叉池的水才不会肆虐。这个传说代代相传，到了现代，只有一位老人还在坚守这个传说，按时敲钟。老人临终前，将敲钟的任务托付给逃避城市文明的年轻人荻原晃，荻原和妻子百合守护在这里，过着简单幸福的生活。。The story follows a young Indigenous game warden who arrests an infamous poacher only to discover that the poacher knows the location of a plane carrying millions of dollars that has crashed in a frozen lake.
