本片利用唱花儿的形式讲述了一对男女青年贯穿一辈子的凄美爱情故事……。该剧由来自《IT狂人》的凯瑟琳·帕金森主演，以及参演过《花儿一家》的日裔演员福田知盛。主要讲述刚入行的新律师威尔原本是个充满理想主义情结的有为青年，但是在真正进入司法体系后，却发现这里存在着诸多奇葩的事情。尤其是遇到愤世嫉俗、老于世故的前辈律师卡洛琳，他的认知可能会被彻底颠覆...。Joseph Fulton, a well-regarded fifty-eight-year-old director of romantic comedies, wants to become assistant groundskeeper at a local cemetery.
