远远看去就是一个普普通通的中年大叔，谁曾想到他竟然是天界的见习财神（贾冰饰）。按照计划，只要再帮助一个好人发财，那么他就可以转为正式财神。谁知好事多磨，当他施展法术时，财运符的光打到了小混混肖洒（于洋饰）的身上，并且法术无法撤销。万般无奈之下，见喜财神只能将错就错，上前表露身份。当然，肖洒不可能相信中年大叔的一派胡言，可是接二连三的发的小财和好运又让他对这个见习财神多了几分信任。不过财神告诉他，如果想发大财，还是需要多行好事，做个好人。就在此时，肖洒的社会大哥找上门来，一番输出后不仅让肖洒债台高筑，还差点丢掉性命。走投无路之际，肖洒只能求助财神帮忙……。Set in the 1930's, this gangster spoof tells the comic tale of a Johnny Kelly (Michael Keaton) who is forced into a life of crime in order to pay for his ailing mother's medical treatment.
