居住在法国南部乡村的老人保罗，在一个暑假突然迎来了三个不速之客——来自巴黎的外孙女和外孙。认知的分歧加上与女儿多年的失和让保罗与三个年轻人难以顺利相处。祖孙几个你来我往地过招，外婆不停从中调和。在不知不觉中保罗与外孙们的感情距离拉近了。。three distant and diverse existences caught in a same tension: the search for their own identity and the sense of ''being'' in a present of continuous transformation.
