珠宝店售货员谢菲储蓄多年的私己钻石，原本打算和女友婷婷结婚时用，不幸被劫去。婷父知悉后便取消婚事。谢的好友鲩鱼生常向谢借钱，而珠宝店老板是其舅父，二人陷入困境。一日，二人无意中发现有人欲打劫珠宝，原来这是老板与保险经纪合谋，打算骗取保险金，这笔款项本应属于谢菲，谢大怒之下开始尾注计划。。This is Alanis Obomsawin's most recent film documenting the Oka crisis (1990)in Quebec.
