故事发生于20世纪30年代的民国年间，城防司令身边一名副官张铁翼在寻找失散的妹妹时，无意间陷入一场命案，被怀疑成杀人凶手，只好设法逃避追捕，暗中秘密追查这一命案，当他成功破解后，却发现一个残酷的真相……。上世纪60年代美剧《亡命天涯》(The Fugitive)曾被翻拍为哈里森·福特主演的93年同名电影，现在日本也翻拍出一部日剧SP《逃亡者》，由渡边谦、丰川悦司主演，纪念朝日电视台建台60周年。故事舞台搬到现代日本，渡边饰演被冤枉杀害妻子，一边逃亡、一边追查真凶的精英外科医生加仓井一树，丰川饰演追查他的刑警保坂正巳。该作由《相棒》导演和泉圣治执导，吉本昌弘操刀剧本，将于今年内连续两晚播出，具体播出时间有待后续消息。。A dentist teams up with a feisty would-be assassin to put the final touches on the plan to kill his wife.
