由日本漫画家松江名俊原作的「史上最强弟子兼一」，曾于2006年10至2007年9月间推出过共计50集的电视动画版。如今，该作的全新动画「史上最强弟子兼一暗的袭击」将在今年4月于TOKYO MX电视台开始播送。 「史上最强弟子兼一暗的袭击」是由原作漫画单行本特别版同捆的OVA动画系列作为蓝本，并在其基础上进行再次剪辑播出，新作会以第46卷特别版同捆OVA“新的刺客”作为故事起点。另外，此番动画的制作人员和配音演员阵会延续原OVA动画中的阵容，监督依然是石踊宏，而人气声优关智一、钉宫理惠、能登麻美子等人已经确定加盟出演。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
