落拓的周刊杂志记者榎木田辗转来到一间伫立在大山深处的咖啡店。据说许多到访过这里的客人都接二连三消失，嗅觉敏锐的榎木田认定咖啡店的背后藏有巨大的秘密，于是不远万里追踪而至。女主人真理子（关惠美饰）热情温柔，然而偶尔又会闪现出落寞阴郁的神情。榎木田假扮成客人，向店内的常客打听消息。常客中有体质变弱的健美选手松浦（角田信朗饰）、逃婚而来的飞鸟（市川由衣饰）、在头脑中规划着无差别杀人计划的卓（藤原薰饰）。随着调查的深入，榎木田发现真理子似乎四处延揽有自杀倾向的人。自杀者手持玫瑰作为接头暗号，经由女老板引领来到咖啡店的二楼。真理子会交给对方一个信封协助他们自杀，而交换条件却令人万万也想象不到……。《怎么办！脱口秀专场》是一档脱口秀专场创制真人秀。为了让脱口秀文化走向行业、走向生活，李诞向9位脱口秀演员提出了举办10场行业脱口秀专场的任务。脱口秀演员组成了“轻轻松松宇宙最强”编剧部，通过行业体验、素材搜集、读稿写稿，策划、制作十场不同话题或行业的脱口秀专场，由此展开围绕专场创制所发生的故事。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
