Noreno, a half-Roman, is entrusted the mission of crossing the mountains to ask ...。电影主要讲述一个自私自利的企业老板和一群起早贪黑的农民工，两个社会阶层之间的利益较量。在追讨工资的囧途上，发生了诸多啼笑皆非的故事。 《钱在囧途》塑造出形形色色的人物。吝啬抠门的老板刘宏图、狡猾设套的塑料兄弟郑德财、缺钱结婚的农民工柱子、贷款供弟弟上大学的缸子等等。将社会各阶层小人物关于爱情、生活、伤害、欺骗的众生相以荒诞的形式呈现在银幕之上。。本片根据法国文豪莫泊桑的名著《奥尔拉》（法语：Le Horla）改编；主人公以第一人称的形式进行叙述。以日记形式描写了主人公的焦虑和恐慌：他感觉到有一个看不见的生物体存在于他的周围，并命名其为« 奥尔拉 »。 他开始还是清醒的，然后在试图摆脱奥尔拉无形的控制过程中，逐渐变得疯癫。。
