It’s the late 1990s, and Granada indie music group Los Planetas is about to record their third album. But with the band in turmoil, they find themselves on the brink of success…or total destruction. Can they come together against all odds or collapse in a ball of fire?。这是一个阿鼠与阿狼的冒险故事，阿鼠是任务执行人，而阿狼则是“任务协会”的中介，专门为阿鼠寻找任务。在二人不停的完成各种艰难的任务的同时，阿鼠透露出对某种不可名状事物的向往——“星辰大海”；而阿狼，也在各种任务中寻找家族消失的线索。二人从任务中得知在除了现在这个世界，还有一个“上面的世界”，且各种迹象表明，阿鼠的向往，和阿狼寻找的线索，都直指“上面的世界”，甚至“更上面的世界”。。
