本片由罗马导演、倪匡编剧，拍於1980年，由著名武打红星吴元俊领衔主演。故事讲述某寺青年僧人「疯子」(吴元俊饰)，性格疯疯癲癲，行為全不符僧人规范。该寺主持玄明方丈却认為「疯子」与佛有缘，并因应其性格与气质，授以「癲罗汉拳」。「疯子」有了武功后，动輒出拳伤人，方丈只得将其逐出寺门……。A group of colleagues crash land on a mysterious island that they cannot escape. They discover they are not alone when they encounter an array of blood thirsty creatures and dinosaurs out to get them. Will they survive the island?。
