Jointly produced by Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla under the banner of Eros International, Maddock Films and Illuminati Films, it is the debut directorial venture of Arif Ali, who was the assistant writer of the film Aahista Aahista, written by his brother Imtiaz Ali. The film has music scored by A. R. Rahman. The film was released on 4 July 2014。Lucy Worsley explores some of the myths and fibs swirling around the French Revolution of 1789 and the uprising that brought down the french royal family. This violent revolution became the blueprint of many future revolutions across the world.。
