科技罪案组高级督察司徒忠（杨明饰）、督察萧美婷（陈晓华饰）在工作上亦师亦友，屡破各种电话、网络、科技骗案；司徒忠在侦查一宗网上情缘案件的过程中，重遇前度女友张慧（高海宁饰），碰巧她与丈夫沈子浩（黄祥兴饰）关系破裂，司徒忠与张慧爱火得以重燃……美婷及后误令家人被骗财，情绪大受打击，幸得司徒忠从旁扶持，重新站起。与此同時，伦敦金骗案闹得满城风雨，而子浩与张慧亦牵连其中，危机四伏；骗案其实由势力庞大的集团控制，幕后主脑更是欺骗美婷家人的匪徒……司徒忠与美婷携手并肩，誓要将骗徒绳之以法。。古今女子差别待遇甚大，不差的是女子永远为情所困。一百年前如此，今日亦如此，身为女人，是原罪、是宿命、还是爱恨情仇的始作俑者。 清代末年，青河镇季、佟两大家族因旌表贞节牌坊一事引发新仇旧恨，一个年轻、美丽的姑娘方瑾受“父母之命”被强迫嫁入佟家陪伴比她小九岁的新郎。不久，小新郎在一次意外中死去，方瑾又被佟家族长佟善群强迫守寡守节，以期获颁贞节牌坊，为其光宗耀祖。 该剧以她得特的视角写出了佟家内部大房、二房、妯娌、姑嫂、主仆之间的明争暗斗，讲述了几对男女的感情纠葛及其不同命运。但压抑的人性总要爆发，在高立天、单福安等人的帮助下，方瑾冲破封建道德的种种束缚，与自己相爱的人走到一起，佟家寡妇二奶奶何其贞也在经历种种波折之后，找到了属于自己的生活道路。 该剧着力刻画了三个性格迥异的寡妇形象：善良、纯洁而又爱封建道德束缚的方瑾，大胆泼辣、狂放不羁的佟庆，娴静、柔弱...。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
